Program Development
My educational background in developmental psychology and early learning, combined with my expertise in conducting assessments and providing data-driven recommendations, supports organizations in designing innovative programs that are tailored to meet the evolving needs of children. Through analysis of educational best practices, milestones, and outcomes, I work with program developers to ensure that new initiatives are grounded in evidence-based solutions, leading to more effective learning experiences. This perspective not only enhances program quality, but also supports educators and families in fostering optimal growth and development for children at critical stages.
Organizational Evaluation
Working toward a better future in early education while prioritizing the well-being of children is a substantial mission that leaves little time for self-reflection. However, the internal processes of an organization or team may determine its impact and effectiveness in accomplishing its mission. Using a collaborative approach, I lead stakeholders and team members in data collection and resource mapping, analysis of results, and reflective sense-making sessions that support team understanding of data-based recommendations. Organizations may choose to collect and explore data related to last year’s outcomes; evaluate current opportunities and barriers; or brainstorm and plan for success in next year’s projects.
Community Feedback
Evaluations of program impact or outcomes may be required in annual reporting for a grant or funding organization; community feedback may also be solicited as part of the thoughtful design of a new program. My experience in facilitating focus groups and interviews, and in creating and disseminating well-designed surveys, ensures that the community’s voice contributes to shaping educational programs and policy. Through quantitative and qualitative analysis of participant outcomes, attitudes, beliefs, needs, and priorities, I provide evidence and recommendations for initiatives that truly serve children, families, and early educators.
